- Berkeley's
J-Jobs print jobs page contains items culled from online sources like
mailing lists and newsgroups, among others.
- Copy
Editor, the newsletter for copy editors, maintains a listing of copy
editor and copy desk-related jobs.
- Craig's List is an
online job listing service for specific cities (and their environs). It
is strongest in San Francisco,
but also lists jobs in: Atlanta;
Austin, Texas; Boston;
Chicago; Denver;
Los Angeles; New
York; Portland, Ore.;
Sacramento, Calif.; San
Francisco; San Diego;
Seattle; and Washington,
D.C.
- Editor & Publisher, the oldest journalism classified of them all, is online
with its ads.
- Jeff
Gaulin's super site of Canadian journalism jobs.
- JournalismJobs.com
is a metasite of journalism job information (including the ability to post
your resume).
- JournalismNext.com
focuses on jobs for minorities
- JournalistUSA
allows employers to post jobs. It goes mainly after free-lancers, but there
are lots of full-time jobs listed.
- The National
Diversity Job Bank the nation's most comprehensive newspaper job listings
web site, is devoted to diversifying the industry. (You must register to
use the site).
- Newslink
offers job listings free for a month. Its searchable index is very useful.
