2 retired members die ...

Earl English, 95, on April 11. He joined ASNE in 1956 as a distinguished service member while dean of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He retired in 1970. Charlotte Saikowski, 73, on April 8. She joined ASNE in 1974 while chief editorial writer for The Christian Science Monitor. Saikowski was later made Washington bureau chief, a position she left in 1989.
