ASNE on the move

Background

The ASNE board of directors voted at its mid-year meeting to invite syndicates, news services and magazine vendors to help underwrite convention meals and entertainment, which traditionally have been financed by individual newspapers and newspaper groups. The expectation is that some newspaper companies now will be able to redirect their support to ASNE programs and projects that address industry issues.
