Court award given to ASNE Foundation
The Flint (Mich.) Journal recently was awarded legal fees by a Michigan
circuit court for successfully challenging a freedom of information violation.
Tom Lindley, editor, gave half of the award to ASNE Foundation,
the other half going to the Michigan Press Association scholarship fund.
ASNE’s foundation supports the work of the Society’s standing committees.
