ASNE on the move

The Thursday night (April 2) reception (6:30-8:30 p.m.) during the 1998 convention will be at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Attendees will have access to the very popular "Star Wars: The Magic of Myth" exhibit, which explores the mythology behind the film trilogy and illustrates how special effects are created for the screen. Also, the museum’s spectacular new IMAX film "Cosmic Voyage" will be shown at 8:15 (40 minutes). The film views nature from the tiniest building blocks of matter to superclusters of galaxies in outer space. The reception will be hosted by Newhouse News Service.

Information about the museum is available on the Web (http://www. nasm.si.edu), as well as details on Star Wars (http://www.nasm.si.edu/StarWars/ sw-unit1.htm).
