ASNE on the move

The "Next Media" section of the ASNE Web site (http://www.asne.org/ works/works.htm) has been launched, presenting material that should prove of interest to ASNE members, according to Ken Paulson, ASNE New Media Committee chair. Paulson is executive director of the First Amendment Center in Nashville, Tenn.

"We welcome material submitted by members that will help newspaper editors understand emerging issues in new media. These can be pieces written expressly for Next Media or pick-ups from your paper. This would also include editorials, columns and commentary about new technology, regulation, etc.," Paulson said.

"This is a work-in-progress that will be updated weekly. The best of the original material will then be published in report form and distributed at the 1999 ASNE convention." Members can contact Paulson at kpaulson@fac.org.
