Thinking internationally

Some ideas Izeze was able to adapt to The Guardian after visiting The Philadelphia Inquirer as part of the International Journalism Exchange:

  • Developing a high-powered section dedicated entirely to enterprising, exclusive stories.
  • Expanding coverage of local news in the metro section.
  • Introducing new sections on computers and information technology, as well as an automobile section. Each of these is being accompanied by a new drive for classified ads.
Future plans include a new Food and Drinks section and a reorganization of the circulation department.
