ASNE on the move

ASNE members will fill six places on the ASNE board in an election this fall. The Nominations Committee met in January and nominated the following to run for the board (in random order):

Ralph E. Langer, editor, The Dallas Morning News

Gregory L. Moore, managing editor, The Boston Globe

Stanley R. Tiner, editor/vice president news, Mobile (Ala.) Register

Jennie Buckner, editor, The Charlotte (N.C.) Observer

David A. Zeeck, executive editor, The News Tribune, Tacoma, Wash.

James P. Herman, managing editor, Wausau (Wis.) Daily Herald

Edward W. Jones, managing editor, The Free Lance-Star, Fredericksburg, Va.

Paul C. Tash, executive editor and deputy chairman, St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times

Robert G. McGruder, executive editor, Detroit Free Press

Frank M. Denton, editor, Wisconsin State Journal, Madison

Narda C. Zacchino, associate editor, Los Angeles Times

Any member attending the convention may vote in the election. Active members not attending may vote by absentee ballot, available from ASNE headquarters.
