ASNE on the move

In addition to electing Edward L. Seaton, editor-in-chief of The Manhattan (Kan.) Mercury, president of ASNE, the membership elected six editors to the board of directors at the convention in April.

Those elected were: Jennie Buckner, editor, The Charlotte (N.C.) Observer; Edward W. Jones, managing editor, The Free Lance-Star, Fredericksburg, Va.; Ralph Langer, editor, The Dallas Morning News; Robert McGruder, executive editor, The Detroit Free Press; Gregory L. Moore, managing editor, The Boston Globe; and David A. Zeeck, executive editor, The News Tribune, Tacoma, Wash.

Jones and Langer were incumbents.

Zeeck was elected to a one-year term and the others to three-year terms.
