ASNE on the move

Chris Anderson, ASNE vice president, becomes publisher and CEO of The Orange County (Calif.) Register, Santa Ana, on Jan. 1.  He is currently publisher of The Gazette, Colorado Springs, and edited the Register from  1980 to 1994. Larry Beaupre has been named news executive at Gannett Co., he was previously editor of The Cincinatti Enquirer. Frank del Olmo, former assistant to the editor, Los Angeles Times, was promoted to associate editor responsible for Latino community coverage. Jane Sutter was named executive editor of the Star-Gazette, Elmira, N.Y. She had been managing editor. Jonathan Wolman has been named managing editor of The Associated Press. He had been Washington bureau chief.
