ASNE on the move

ASNE and the National Conference of Editorial Writiers welcome each other’s members as participants in fact-finding trips. This study trip, Nov. 8-22, is designed for senior journalists with a serious interest in international affairs. It will include stops in India’s political capital, New Delhi; its financial capital, Bombay; and Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad. Permission has been sought to visit the disputed region of Kashmir, as well.

Briefings and roundtable discussions are being arranged with U.S. embassy officials; Indian and Pakistani leaders at the highest levels of government, business and the media; and with Chinese diplomats in both New Delhi and Islamabad.
