ASNE on the move

Ted Natt, former editor and publisher of The Daily News in Longview, Wash., has not been seen since Aug. 7, when the helicopter he was piloting disappeared. Searchers looking for signs of Natt or the helicopter in the dense forests near Longview were called off after several days.
In newspaper stories in his own paper and The Oregonian, Portland, Natt, a longtime ASNE member, former director and 1999-2000 Nominations Committee chair, was fondly remembered as a community and newspaper leader. He recently sold the newspaper.
