ASNE on the move
Lee Stinnett, ASNE's recently retired executive director, was the first
recipient of the Excellence in Service award by the main journalism educators
association in August.
The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication gave
him the award in New Orleans during its annual meeting.
It honors people outside AEJMC who perform exemplary service to the
group and journalism education.
Stinnett, said he was "stunned" by the award.
