Eight daily newspapers are playing an integral role in the Journalism Credibility Project by developing initiatives in the areas of accuracy, bias and sensational stories, are designed to increase public trust and heighten credibility. The strategies, which will be implemented starting in the spring of 1999, are designed so that other newspapers may adapt them to their own needs and markets.
