The New Media Committee elected to examine the partnerships being struck between newspapers and non-newspaper institutions. Some of these alliances are straightforward, some are less so. Here are reports on six such relationships -- some of which worked, some of which didn't.

 

I.		A marriage of convenience.
II.		Polygamy vs. monogamy in Kansas City.
III.		Playing the field in Boston.
IV.		These mixed media relationships never work. Well, almost never.
V.		I'll love you, come rain or come shine.
VI.		A teen romance.
