Join us for a special briefing at the U.S. Department of State, scheduled from . , during the final day of the conference.
This annual event, organized by ASNE's Opinion Committee, gives attendees an around-the-world tour here. Space is limited, and the first few people to register can take advantage of a $200 travel stipend reimbursable (with valid receipts) after the conference. Travel may include airfare, baggage fees, transportation fees and/or mileage. 6. Let's party!
Join us for our opening reception from, at the Smithsonian's National Zoo! We will be in the Amazonia Habitat and Amazonia Science Gallery, where you will get to meet Amazon rainforest animals. There will be hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar (CASH ONLY).

Also, join us from Tuesday, Oct. 10, for a reception at the residence of Joe Hockey, Australian ambassador to the United States. We will have cocktails, snacks and some quality time for a Q&A and other fun, engaging conversations. This stand-up reception is open on a first-come, first-served basis to those who are registered and made a hotel reservation for the conference.
